Nankang SV-1 is a top-quality non-studded winter tyre for the Nordic conditions. In the development of the SV-1 tyre, special emphasis was placed on an excellent traction on ice, snow and slush, but the tyre works extremely well also in the wet autumn and spring weather.

Nankang SV-1 has done extremely well in Finnish tyre tests. In a remarkably extensive tyre test conducted for the Finnish Transport Safety Agency Trafi by the world-famous Finnish winter tyre testing center Test World in 2013, SV-1 was ranked in the 10th place. Out of all the 88 non-studded winter tyres tested, every tyre that scored higher points than Nankang was considerably more expensive; moreover, Nankang beat a great number of well-known, high-priced winter tyres and clearly had the best price-quality ratio.

Having been selected as one of the tyres reviewed in a tyre test conducted by the Finnish magazine "Tekniikan Maailma" ("Engineering World"), NankangSV-1 impressed the testing crew by coming in fifth out of the nine high-quality Nordic non-studded winter tyres tested and beating, almost sensationally, famous brands such as Goodyear and Bridgestone! SV-1 generated the lowest tyre noise, showed the best performance on slush and was among the best non-studded tyres in terms of braking traction on ice. The tyres which scored higher points were considerably more expensive; nevertheless, Nankang was a worthy competitor against them.
